Meindl Ladies Safari Club Trousers, Goat Suede
The story behind the »Safari Club« trousers goes back to the beginning of the 20th century. The British soldiers stationed in India adopted traditional Indian breeches for polo and for their cavalry stationed in India. Because of their origin - the Indian princely state of Jodhpur - they called this kind of trousers »Jodhpur«. The »Safari Club« trousers are modelled on the original Jodhpur trousers, being very flared from the knee upwards and narrow from the knee down. Details such as side pockets, zip-and-button fastening or the striking leg end with contrasting nappa leather inserts and slit-and-button fastening give the trousers their sporty look. The trousers give your outfit an individual touch and emphasise the personality of the wearer.
