Description
Rediscovery of the famous polishing stone
Tips: Thanks to its unique mineral composition, the »Pierre La Lune« can be used directly after sharpening with 1000 grit, without any further intermediate steps.
For an even shinier result, you can use the polishing stone with honing oil or camellia oil. Once finished, thoroughly clean the stone with washing-up liquid, leaving it ready to be used again with water.
The phyllite slate was formed on the seabed some 345-400 million years ago through the natural compaction of fine-grained sedimentary rock. Composed of quartz, chlorite and sericite (muscovite), phyllite has a smooth, lamellar texture that gives »La Lune« its unique fine quality.
