Description
The cotton dobby fabric, made from fine full-twist yarns (100/2), impresses with its luxurious sheen and especially pleasant texture. Dobby fabric is woven on specialised looms and is characterised by subtle, woven-in textures or patterns. This sophisticated weaving technique gives the blouse a unique design and a medium weight, perfectly balancing comfort and style.
The mother-of-pearl buttons are placed close together along the button placket to prevent the blouse from gaping. The seams are sewn with nine stitches per centimetre instead of the usual seven, which underlines the excellent workmanship. After precise cutting, the sleeves, collar, and cuffs are made by hand. The genuine mother-of-pearl buttons are sewn in the Florentine style, with the stitching forming a crow’s foot pattern over the holes – a testament to the attention to detail.
Each blouse goes through an intricate manufacturing process involving a total of 40 steps. The slightly tailored fit with darts in the front and back accentuates the feminine silhouette.
