Description
The ideal recipe for Stark Herbal Liqueur was developed over many months, with countless tasting sessions and repeated fine-tuning. The challenge lay in precisely balancing herbal bitterness, sugar content, and alcohol level. Ultimately, the intentionally high alcohol content proved decisive, subtly suppressing the sweetness and allowing the full character of the herbs to shine.
A carefully crafted herbal extract is cold-macerated for three to four weeks, using dried hops, ginger and angelica root, coriander, lemon and bitter orange peel, lemon balm leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, and other select herbs. It is then delicately blended with various types of sugar and high-quality neutral alcohol – resulting in a composition of strength, body, and a full-bodied, pleasantly bitter finish.Serving recommendation
For perfect enjoyment, serve at a temperature of 8 to 10 °C. Even when served ice-cold in a pre-chilled glass, the liqueur develops its distinctive aroma. As a digestif after a hearty meal, it makes for a characterful conclusion. Before pouring, gently swirl the bottle to ensure the components are properly mixed.
Thanks to its high alcohol content, Stark Herbal Liqueur is also excellent for flambéing game dishes or desserts.
