Habsburg »Kohfidisch« Ladies’ Linen Jacket

Description

The »Kohfidisch« women’s jacket combines classic elegance with a sense of summer lightness, distinguished by its premium fabric and clean, timeless lines. Crafted from refined Italian tinto filo linen, it features a finely woven herringbone structure and a natural, subtly iridescent sheen. The airy linen cloth ensures a comfortably dry feel even on warm days, reinforcing the jacket’s cultivated and sophisticated character.

Two patch pockets with flaps provide practical storage for sporting essentials, while discreetly integrated cartridge slots underscore the functional intent of the design. Considered details such as hand-sewn buttonholes, genuine horn buttons and carefully accented trims in fine lamb suede reflect a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. A button-adjustable half-belt at the back allows the fit to be tailored individually, creating a balanced, feminine silhouette.

The smart, sporting shirt collar with throat latch lends the jacket a poised character and makes it easy to style – equally suited to refined casual wear or more elevated summer occasions.

Tinto filo, literally meaning »yarn-dyed«, refers to a traditional process in which the yarns are dyed prior to weaving. This meticulous technique gives the linen its nuanced, lively colour effect and allows for distinctive patterns such as the herringbone weave seen here. The result is a fabric of depth and character, making the »Kohfidisch« jacket as enduring as it is elegant.

Manufacturer

Habsburg

Kleidermanufaktur Habsburg was founded on 24 September 1992 at Schloss Blühnbach, the former hunting lodge of the heir to the throne, Franz Ferdinand. The elegant look of the »Habsburg« typifies its Austrian-royal roots and stands for exclusive clothing made of the finest fabrics with high-quality craftsmanship. Emperor Franz Josef wore a hunting coat that was specially tailored to his needs and requirements; this original from a museum in Salzburg, reinterpreted, served as the flagship for the first collection. Even today, you can still find such classic models in the collection of Kleidermanufaktur Habsburg, which have been updated with great attention to detail. The timeless elegance paired with high functionality guarantees clothing with a pinch of aristocratic grandeur.
