How it all began: Heinz and Margot Bauer founded the traditional Swabian company Heinz Bauer Manufakt in 1960. Back then, they were already developing their own jacket collections and producing them in their own factory. This is where the company's namesake laid the foundations for his passion for artistic craftsmanship.
From fabric to leather: in the beginning, the focus was on the production of jackets and coats made from loden and cashmere. When the second generation of Jochen Bauer joined the company, the expertise was switched to leather.

Today, Heinz Bauer Manufakt looks back on 60 years of passion, craftsmanship and innovation. The jackets not only radiate design and dynamism, but also inspire time and again with sophisticated details and innovative functions.
This innovative strength is further developedwith each new model. Heinz Bauer Manufakt owes this to its long tradition of in-house production. To this day, production continues at the manufactory near Stuttgart. Made in Germany since the day the company was founded.

An outstanding feature are the shoulder pads made of non-slip, digitised leather, which are ideal for a perfect touch. The waxed, water-repellent lambskin comes from animals native to the Swabian Alb and is wonderfully warm, soft and light to wear. It has been known for centuries that these skins have the amazing ability to clean themselves in the fresh air. They are naturally bactericidal, dirt-repellent and therefore extremely easy to care for.

The matching hunting trousers are functional, robust and have a perfect fit. While the lambskin trousers are the perfect choice in winter, the loden trousers ensure a pleasant body climate all year round.

Seat cushion and muff
Nothing is more comfortable than a soft hand warmer when hunting in winter or on the hide. With well-groomed fur on the inside and water-repellent horse leather on the outside, the muff transforms into a wonderfully comfortable and dry seat pad in no time at all.
Hunting gloves are an important accessory for cold days: robust hunting gloves made of strong but supple deerskin in nappa tanning with cashmere lining.
The rustic hunting belt with robust buckle is six to eight millimetres thick. The strong Alb buffalo leather is particularly dimensionally stable and is characterised by a pleasant feel and a beautiful grain structure.
