Produced with exceptional precision in an Austrian family-run workshop with over 300 years of shoemaking tradition, this boot reflects centuries of artisanal expertise.
Materials & craftsmanship
The boot shaft is made of durable, waxed nubuck leather, which offers a rugged surface and natural water resistance.
The foot area features sturdy cowhide nappa , adding extra stability and support.
The interior is fully lined with genuine shearling (naturally grown fleece), a material known for its outstanding thermal properties: it retains warmth effectively without causing heat build-up, as it absorbs and releases excess heat and moisture.
The fine wool structure creates a balanced foot climate and a high level of comfort – even during long walks and in cold conditions.
Shearling is also naturally dirt-repellent and antibacterial, thanks to the wool’s lanolin content and its scaly fibre structure, which help prevent the penetration of dirt and bacteria.
Function & features
The heavily treaded rubber sole ensures reliable grip on slippery, wet or uneven surfaces.
A concealed inner zip on the inner side allows for easy entry and removal.
At the top of the shaft, a leather strap enables the boot’s width to be adjusted for a personalised fit around the calf.
Double-stitched construction
The double-stitched construction is a traditional technique that is now rarely found.
It creates an exceptionally strong bond between the upper leather and insole and allows the boot to be resoled by a specialist.
In this method, the upper is first stitched to the insole and then turned outward and sewn again to the midsole.
This dual seam offers not only enhanced protection against moisture, but also exceptional durability and long service life.
