Material & craftsmanship
The outer fabric is made of a high-quality wool-cashmere blend, woven by the renowned Italian heritage mill Lanificio di Pray. The fabric impresses with a pleasantly soft feel, a fine texture and a weight of 360 g/rm.
The contrasting wool lining in elegant green enhances the jacket’s refined appearance while providing cosy warmth. Finely crafted genuine horn buttons, a sturdy two-way metal zip, a button-fastening storm tab and a contrasting undercollar lend the design thoughtful detail and reflect traditional craftsmanship down to the last stitch.
The jacket is produced in a small family-run workshop in the Aragon region of Spain, a traditional manufacturer with over 100 years of expertise.
Function & details
Thoughtfully designed and practical: two generously sized bellows pockets with flaps offer ample storage for cartridges and hunting gear. Two side handwarmer pockets provide added comfort on chilly days. Inside, a secure zip pocket keeps important documents such as your hunting licence safe and within easy reach.
The sporty raglan sleeves with broad shoulders ensure excellent freedom of movement. The eponymous sleeve design is attributed to Lord Raglan (1788–1855), who wore a coat with diagonally set sleeves following the Battle of Waterloo to facilitate dressing with his missing arm. This distinctive sleeve construction has since become a hallmark of comfort and mobility.
