The elegant Glencheck trousers from the MEYER EXCLUSIVE line stand out with their perfectly tailored silhouette and tonal check design. Inspired by traditional bespoke tailoring, these trousers feature semi-sartorial construction with numerous steps — including the finishing of the pocket bags and inner lining — still carried out by hand. Sophisticated details such as the after-dinner split, shirt gripper, and carefully chosen lining ensure exceptional comfort. This attention to detail is also reflected in premium features: corozo buttons, a concealed security pocket inside the left front pocket, and the waistband clasp with safety button are essential components of a MEYER EXCLUSIVE pair of trousers. Made of a lightly elastic virgin wool blend, they offer a pleasant feel and excellent wearing comfort.

The Glencheck pattern was first mentioned in writing in 1840. Its origin lies near Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. According to legend, Elizabeth MacDougall of Lewiston in Inverness-shire drew the distinctive pattern in the muddy ground with a stick to show her weaver the design — making her the »inventor« of Glencheck.
