Description
The »Parcours 2 Bottillon« calf-high rubber boot is made of durable Gomma Plus natural rubber for excellent resistance to water and mud. Gomma Plus is the result of years of intensive research and development in the field of natural rubber compounds. What makes this natural material so exceptional is its amazing combination of extreme resilience and suppleness, softness and elasticity. These unique properties create ideal conditions for the highest wearing comfort.
The slim shaft shape in the ankle area grants the foot excellent support and a stable hold, comparable to the comfort of a hiking boot. The boot is equipped with a quick-drying jersey lining. The inner lining has undergone a Sanitized® treatment which has antibacterial properties and thus reduces unpleasant odours. It efficiently absorbs excess moisture and quickly wicks it away. When wearing rubber boots, choosing the right socks is crucial to ensure maximum comfort and dryness. Be sure to avoid using pure cotton stockings as they tend to absorb moisture and do not effectively wick it away from your skin.
The triple-layered natural rubber sole reduces body fatigue and improves foot roll. The first layer of the sole contains an integrated cushioning wedge in the heel, which acts like a spring. It absorbs impact with every step and returns energy at the same time. The midsole, the second layer, ensures comfort and stability of the foot. Thanks to a combination of natural rubber and a laterally raised line, it offers cushioning, comfort and foot support. The third layer is the abrasion-resistant outsole with a tread pattern in the forefoot that is modelled on the foot shape of a chamois. As a result, the sole provides excellent propulsion traction, increased stability and minimum fatigue. The built-in rubber reinforcement in the midfoot area provides additional stability and foot control during transitional phases. The rear foot profile ensures axial and lateral support, heel retention and increases the overall stability of the foot in the rubber boot.
