Shoe Care Instructions - Suede Shoes
Step 1: Use the Burgol Luxury Dirt Brush to remove loose dust and dirt from the suede. Carefully brush out ingrained dirt with the Burgol Suede Brush. Remove firmly adhering dirt carefully with the Crepe Brush, but without applying much pressure.
Step 2: Wet cleaning of suede shoes is recommended when brushing is no longer sufficient. Spray Burgol Suede and Nubuck Cleaner generously onto the suede and leave it to work for a few minutes. Then take up some lukewarm water with the Luxury Dirt Brush and brush out the shoes. Make sure that the shoes do not get too wet and that no moisture gets inside. After brushing, we recommend drying the brush with a cloth, this prevents the wood from swelling. Finally, insert shoe trees and let the shoes dry at room temperature. Avoid placing the shoes near a heat source.
Step 3: For care and protection against moisture, spray the suede shoes evenly with the Burgol Waterproofing Spray and let the shoes dry for 15 minutes. The waterproofing spray contains nourishing jojoba oil, which also cares for the leather.
Before large-scale application, it is always advisable to test the shoe care and cleaning products on a small, inconspicuous area.
