Description
The Dry Wax Mile Marker Coat is a lightweight, weather-resistant coat designed for days when protection is needed without the bulk of a heavy outer layer. The 4 oz waxed cotton fabric reliably shields against wind and light rain while remaining easy to care for, as it is machine-washable.
Inside the body, the coat is lined with Filson’s Cover Cloth canvas, while the sleeves are finished with a smooth polyester lining to allow additional layers to slide on easily. For added comfort where the coat meets the skin, the upper collar and hand pockets are lined with soft cotton moleskin.
A two-way front zip, protected by a snap-fastened storm flap, closes the coat securely. Internal zips allow compatible liners to be zipped in depending on the season. The fit can be adjusted with a drawcord at the waist, while the cuffs are regulated by snap-tab adjusters. For gear and everyday essentials, the coat provides cargo pockets with flaps, a zippered chest pocket and additional secure compartments.
