The Tin Cloth, Filson’s signature fabric, is an essential part of the Filson DNA and has been processed for over 100 years. The very tightly woven cotton material provides ideal protection from the elements by virtually sealing itself when it rains – the fibres swell and effectively keep moisture out.The shoulders of this field jacket are a one-piece design that eliminates seams for maximum water-resistance. The collar and practical hand pockets are both lined with Mackinaw Wool for maximum warmth even in the wettest conditions. The two generous front pockets offer enough space for a box of 12-gauge cartridges each or for everyday hunting essentials.
The rear sports a zippered side-entry game pocket that is lined with coated nylon, and it works just as well holding gloves, a scarf or a cap when not hunting.
The two-way front zip is equipped with a storm flap for extra protection from wind and weather.
