GLOVERALL

Products from GLOVERALL

Since its inception in 1951, British company Gloverall has been the pioneer of the classic duffle coat. Five years after the end of World War II, Gloverall started its success story. Harold Morris and his wife Freda were offered a large quantity of surplus military duffle coats, which quickly sold out. This success prompted Harold, son of a master tailor, and Freda to produce their own duffle coats for their new company Gloverall. The name »Gloverall« is a combination of the two words »Gloves« and »Overall« – the original core business of the Morris family. Craftsmanship, high-quality materials and fine fabrics are at the forefront of the workmanship of Gloverall duffle coats. The classic model is wonderfully recognisable by its striking toggle fastenings, opulent pockets on the front and the large hood. The heavy wool fabric used has a warming effect and protects against moisture – perfect for bad weather. Gloverall keeps reinventing the classic duffle coat. The wool coats made from premium British fabrics brave all weathers and have been made in Northamptonshire for more than 70 years. To this day, the brand's jackets and coats embody a timeless and durable style beyond all fashion trends.
