Description
This Harris Tweed in black and blue herringbone is made from pure new wool, dyed, spun, and traditionally handwoven on the Outer Hebrides, the western islands of Scotland. A two-button men’s blazer with side vents and details such as a breast welt pocket, three slanted flap pockets, leather buttons, and leather elbow patches. Two inner pockets are set into the outer fabric facings in the light blue viscose lining with red contrast stitching. It also features a pen pocket, comb pocket, and a ticket pocket.
The back length for size 52 is 80 cm.

Seclusion, wild nature, and simple living conditions often foster the creation of extraordinary handcrafted products. On the Outer Hebrides, 60 km off the west coast of Scotland, Harris Tweeds made of pure new wool yarns, dyed locally, are still woven by hand at home on handlooms, resulting in narrow fabric widths. The wool fibres are dyed and mixed with up to eight colours before spinning is started, offering the unique colour variation of Harris Tweeds already in the melange yarn.
