Only cotton from the Egyptian Nile Delta is used for Pantherella’s Fil d'Écosse socks. It is considered one of the highest quality cotton fibres due to its length and fineness. The Mercerisation process carried out by an Italian spinning mill gives the yarn a very silky and shiny appearance, as well as a deep, rich and vibrant colour.
The Fil d'Écosse yarn is suitable for both warm and cold seasons as its ability to absorb moisture allows your feet to stay dry even in hot weather.

Pantherella is a truly English brand. The women's hosiery factory was founded in Leicester in 1937 under the name »Midlands Hosiery Mills«. Less than 10 years later, Louis Goldschmidt not only changed the name to "Pantherella", but also the focus to fine socks for men.
