Shots & Company »Gin Glass«

Description

The exquisite gin glass, crafted from glass and pewter, captivates with its unique shotgun shell-inspired design and also serves as the perfect gift for hunters and lovers of refined details. Each glass has been designed to scale to capture the authentic shape. The elegant rim, made of finest English pewter and reminiscent of a cartridge cap, creates a striking contrast with the clear glass, giving the piece its distinctive character.

This gin glass is specifically designed to bring out the full aroma profile of your favourite gin botanicals. Since gin is traditionally enjoyed cold with ice cubes (never crushed ice), the shape is designed to allow ample space for them. To prevent excessive dilution and keep the drink pleasantly chilled, the ice cubes should melt slowly. The glass thickness is also crucial: thicker glass retains temperature longer and minimises heat transfer, whether from warm hands or ambient temperatures, which ensures the drink remains refreshingly cool, providing a consistent taste experience.

Each glass is crafted by skilled artisans in a traditional workshop in Sheffield. Sheffield is known for its long-standing heritage in working with gold, silver, pewter, and steel, and embodies the highest quality. The glass pays homage to the tradition of shooting sports and showcases British craftsmanship and attention to detail.
