Shots & Company »Shot Glass« - Pair

Description

The exquisite shot glass, designed to resemble a shotgun shell, makes a perfect gift for hunters and those who appreciate stylish details. The glasses have been designed to scale to authentically replicate the shape. The rim, made of finest English pewter and reminiscent of a cartridge cap, adds a charming contrast to the clear glass, giving it a unique character.

According to legend, the origin of the shot glass traces back to the Wild West, where cowboys would quickly drink their whiskey in saloons before heading back out onto the prairie. The term »shot« is said to originate from the practice of cowboys trading a shot of whiskey for a bullet casing when money was tight. Another explanation suggests that »shot« refers to a glass of liquor being drunk in one swift motion.

Each glass is individually crafted by skilled artisans in a Sheffield workshop. Known for its long-standing tradition in working with gold, silver, pewter, and steel, Sheffield is synonymous with the highest quality. The glasses pay homage to the tradition of shooting sports and showcase British craftsmanship and attention to detail.
