The very tightly woven cotton material provides ideal protection from the elements by virtually sealing itself when it rains - the fibres swell and effectively keep moisture out.The shoulders of this field jacket are a one-piece design that eliminates seams for maximum water-resistance. The collar and practical hand pockets are both lined with Mackinaw Wool for maximum warmth even in the wettest conditions. The two generous front pockets offer enough space for a box of 12-gauge cartridges each or for everyday hunting essentials.The rear sports a zippered side-entry game pocket that is lined with coated nylon, and it works just as well holding gloves, a scarf or a cap when not hunting.The two-way front zip is equipped with a storm flap for extra protection from wind and weather.The Tin Cloth Field Jacket takes the separately available Filson Wool Vest Liner for even more warmth and versatility.
