The roll-up case is carefully handmade in England from 100 % cotton canvas. The lamination with natural rubber on the inside makes the case waterproof and robust. Compared to the classic Croots cases, the roll-up slip does without the usual fleece lining. This allows the case to be rolled up after use and stored in a space-saving way. The case offers enough space for scoped rifles. The muzzle of your weapon is additionally protected by the hand-sewn cap made of vegetable-tanned, robust saddle leather. The classic flap with buckle lets you conveniently insert your shotgun from the back during hunting. For comfortable transport, the case has a leather shoulder strap that is adjustable in length. The latch on the flap allows the case to be locked with a padlock (not included). Details such as clasps made of solid brass and the practical hanging loop underline the attention to detail.

The family business was founded in 1978 under the label »Field Sports Products« by John and Margaret Smith, on the first floor of their house in Scarborough. The Smith family started with the idea of producing robust handmade bags and cases for hunting and fishing. When daughter Jackie and son-in-law Allistair Croot took over the business in 2004, they changed nothing about it, except for the name. Today, the company »Croots« has become a worldwide byword for British craftsmanship and the production of high-quality and robust bags. Croots managed to be granted the Royal Warrant of Appointment of the United Kingdom within a very short time and remains so to this day. Today, the brand is known for its elegant city, sports and leisure bags that meet the highest standards of quality, design and functionality. The bags are designed and manufactured at the company's site in Malton, North Yorkshire (UK), which is the gateway to the beautiful hunting grounds of the North York Moors.
