This safari jacket closes with two buttons and is made of a strong cotton twill by Brisbane Moss from England. The four pockets are worked with buttoned flaps. Two buttoned inside pockets are worked into the wide outer fabric covers. In keeping with the safari style, a back belt is inserted above the side vents; the pockets and edges have strikingly wide quilted seams. They emphasise the robust cotton fabric's dense twill structure with a remarkable weight of 600 g/rm.Brisbane Moss, a weaving mill based in West Yorkshire for over 120 years, is renowned for its high-quality cotton fabrics. They have the expertise required to achieve durable, colour-true cotton fabrics in a wide variety of weaving techniques. Brisbane Moss' moleskin and corduroy fabrics are famous for their special weaving characteristics, which have remained unchanged over many decades. For this fabric, two cotton twills were woven very densely in a twill weave to produce a heavyweight cotton twill.The back length for size 50 is 72 cm, for size 98 it is 77 cm. The sports jacket is tailored for a snug fit. We recommend ordering one size up if you prefer a looser fit.
