The characterful, dry handle Waxed Cotton is made in Scotland, where this comfortably tailored jacket with perfect silhouette is also produced. The side back pleats provide excellent freedom of movement. The turned-up collar can also be closed with a throat tab. The breast pocket and wide bellows pockets with flaps and pleats offer substantial storage space. On the inside, two zipped pockets are worked into wide outer fabric facings. Two buttons are used to secure the throat tab to the turned-up collar when not in use. The pleasantly fine quilted lining of dark blue viscose is warming, allowing use of the wind- and water-repellent jacket cooler weather as well. Flax and linen fabrics have long since been replaced by densely woven cotton for clothing purposes.
