These elegant Glencheck trousers with French pockets from the Meyer Exclusiv line impress with their elegantly cut silhouette and striking chequered design. Typical of the Meyer Exclusiv line is the semi-sartorial finish. Based on the traditional art of tailoring, many production steps, such as turning over the pockets and lining, are still genuinely carried out by hand. Sophisticated details such as the after-dinner split, the shirt stopper and the lovingly selected lining ensure a wearing experience in a class of its own. This attention to detail is also reflected in valuable features such as corozo buttons, a hidden security pocket in the left pocket or the waistband with clasp fastening and safety button - indispensable components of Meyer Exclusiv trousers. The trousers are made from a slightly stretchy virgin wool mix and impress with their pleasant feel and high wearing comfort.

The Glencheck pattern was first noted in writing in 1840. It originated near Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. Elizabeth MacDougall from Lewiston in Invernessshire is said to have painted the distinctive pattern in the muddy ground with a stick to explain it to her weaver. She is considered the inventor of the Glencheck pattern.
