The vinification: Hand-picked. Temperature-controlled fermentation of the destemmed grapes (95 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 5 % Cabernet Franc) in steel tanks at 25-28 °C using selected yeasts. A certain proportion undergoes further maceration, which gives the wine additional structure. It is then matured for 12-14 months in French oak casks (1/3 first, 1/3 second and 1/3 third fill). The wine: Deep, dense ruby red shines in the glass. The nose is enchanted by very ripe fruit aromas such as redcurrant and black cherry, paired with equally intense, sweet notes of vanilla, dark chocolate and liquorice. Discreet, fresh green nuances of eucalyptus are detectable in the background. The wine has a very juicy palate and the bouquet is complemented by a hint of leather. A strong representative of its kind with a very good tannin structure and good potential!
