This wallet is made of ground-tanned cowhide from Germany with a strong pull-up effect. A characteristic feature of this kind of leather is that it becomes much brighter when bent. This effect is reversible and shows that this bridle leather has obtained its colour shade through »baking« - the greasing of the skin at the end of the tanning process which lasts several months. The edges are ground to a round shape in several passes, stained and polished with wax.
