This light Shetland cardigan with round yoke in a Fair Isle pattern, has a crew neck. The row of mother-of-pearl buttons is carefully underlaid with ribbed tape. It is a loose knit of pure virgin wool yarns with a durable ply from a neighbouring spinning mill in Aberdeenshire. The surface is slightly roughened and compacted by means of thistle teasels. The result is a warming, air-permeable yet light cardigan. The ribbed cuffs ensure a good fit.
